It is failing to make the root filesystem writeable because of the existance of a file named /tmp/.root_writeable, which wasn't erased when you rebooted. Try doing the following, and then run the install script immediately afterwards: /sbin/mount_kernfs /kern /kern /sbin/mount -u /kern/rootdev / -J
